Truecaller, the global platform for trusted communication, has announced that it has surpassed 500 million users worldwide, marking a major milestone in its mission to build safer and more reliable digital interactions.
The company reported strong user growth, adding more than 50 million users in 2025 alone. It also revealed that it now has over 150 million users outside India, driven by rising global demand for protection against spam, scams, and unwanted communication. Earlier in the year, Truecaller also crossed 4 million paying subscribers, further strengthening its recurring revenue base.
Reaching the 500 million-user milestone highlights the growing importance of trust as a core layer in modern digital communication.

With half a billion users globally, Truecaller has evolved beyond caller identification into a broader digital trust platform. It now plays a key role in helping users verify identities, avoid fraud, and manage communication more safely.
The platform has become a daily-use utility for hundreds of millions of people worldwide, supporting safer interactions across calls and messaging systems.
Despite its global scale, the company operates with a lean workforce of approximately 470 employees managing and developing the platform.
Truecaller will continue reporting average monthly and daily active users in its quarterly financial updates.
