The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has confirmed that the passenger forcibly removed from an Enugu Air flight, as seen in a viral video, allegedly refused to switch off his mobile phone despite safety instructions.
FAAN’s Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Obiageli Orah, disclosed this in a statement, adding that preliminary findings indicate the incident began when the passenger declined to comply with standard in-flight safety protocols.
She further noted that a full investigation has been launched to uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident.
